2. Quotes: Get a quote in person. Never trust an over-the-phone quote.
3. Liability Insurance: While liability and medical insurance for contractors may not be required in your state, it should be required in your home. Without such insurance policies, you may find yourself liable for any injuries that occur on the job site, aka your home.
